The second extrude of 480mm should be 430mm 🙂
And over here everything mirrors, also the whole parts
Thanks Paul, I already changed the dimension in my post! 🙂
If everything Mirrors instead of only one extrude it means they are connected with each other. The ‘Mirror Bodies’ functions works only properly for a complete body. You can check the number of bodies in the Bodies Map, above in the feature tree. You can also use the ‘Features to Mirror’ option.
The chamfer in step 3? are way out of line. 460mm and 25mm. It will do it but all you get is a thin piece only a few mm wide. LOL I did 4.6 and 2.5 and it came out ok.
Ps. The floating box that has “Tweet” and “Like” and “Share” is fine on my primary monitor but when I place SolidWorks on my primary and the WWW page on my secondary monitor it floats in the middle of the instructions. Tilt my head every which way I can’t see around it. smile
Hi Hubert,
Are you working in inches? The 460 en 25 mm looks fine in my model 🙂 Maybe you have to flip the dimensions to get it right. Not sure what the problem with my Social Bar is.. I’ll definetly check it! 🙂
I rellay wish there were more articles like this on the web.
That’s way the bestest aneswr so far!
