The wall thickness is found in the “Thin Feature” part of the property manager.
So this example is set to 1mm.

I am doing an in exercise in swept boss/base 3d sketch . Aftre creating profile and path I am ready to swept. but the swept boss/base in the command manager is inactive …? I am really stuck. Any one can help to solve this issue /

Hi Kiri,
The most important thing during a Sweep is the connection between the 2D Profile and the 3D curve. They have to be connected to eachother in order to make the Sweep feature work.
Are you sure this is the case? If you still keep getting this problem send me an email and I will take a look at it.

i got a issue here with the sweep, and it’s the Thickness. Im not allowd to mark the thickness because there’s no “thin feature” there, like by you, but im working in SW14. Do you know why?

Hi Diogo, make sure you use a Solid Sweep instead of a Surface Sweep. This should work 🙂

Hi Carl, thanks for your message. I didn’t hear any bad stories about SW2016 so far but I recommend you to contact your SW reseller about this. When you also considering to switch to Windows 10 it can be helpfull to upgrade to SW 2016 since Windows 10 only supports SOLIDWORKS 2015 SP5 and SOLIDWORKS 2016. Happy holidays! Jan
I’d just like to say that I run SW2014 x64 on Win10 Pro with no problems at all.
If the new swept cut functionality allows threaded features to be added to the surfaces of existing swept features rather than just right cylinders it will allow the creation of geometry that’s been, to my knowledge, impossible to create easily in Solidworks until now. Examples include bent threaded rods, twisted pairs of wires along curved paths etc. Otherwise it’s just providing a 3rd option to create the same helical cut geometry as the threading function and the sweep along a helix for no obvious reason.

I have a quesiton, how would you draw this part if you wanted the diameter of the tubing to vary as you sweep across the path? For example if you wanted the diameter at one end to be half of that at the other end.
